When attending a live music event or concert, the audience often feels a sense of magic in the air; as they collectively sing along to their favourite ballad or bob their head to the latest single, a live show can feel like a communal transcendent experience. Meanwhile, on stage the artist feels the years of songwriting and production come to a head with the weeks of rehearsals and preparation, all while interacting with their fans personally. As a documentarian, my photos are aimed to capture the chemistry between both of these simultaneous experiences.
PVLN Live at TD Music Hall
To mark the release of his debut album, Stars 1: Escape, artist PVLN, planned a release event at TD music Hall. The event required thorough planning, late night rehearsals and many helping hands. What follows is my documentation reflecting the energy that went into preparing for the event and the outcome of an energetic debut performance from a rising star.

No live show is complete without openers! PVLN had two artists grace the stage before his debut. Singer-songwriter Lucy Ellis’ acoustic sound and Quiet’s smooth R&B energy warmed up the crowd perfectly for PVLN’s pop sensibility!

R&B Live AT NXNE for Billboard Canada At Soundstage
North by North East is a music festival that takes place annually in Toronto, Canada. Events take place throughout the week to showcase budding talent in a variety of genres from across Canada.
In 2026 I had the privilege to document the R&B Live showcase for Billboard Canada.
